Google banning Adsense For Domains from March 21

Another Google product all set for retiring. Some people will be happy and some will be sad. Rip Adsense For Domains.

Google is changing its policy for adsense and they are getting strict day by day, this time their target is underdeveloped domains, This means domains without any content that were hosted by using their adsense for domains product.

I feel pity for Niche Website, who have worked say and night to search for keyword relevant domains, But now their earnings are gonna drop like an apple from tree. As Google has decided to Stop all Adsense for domains from April 18 2012.

This will not affect regular Adsense websites, i mean if u have a website with content and adsense, then you don’t worry , this content is not for you. This can have a positive impact on regular websites, as the traffic which was catered by undeveloped domains, will now be transferred to developed websites with regular adsense program.

Their are few sample of emails which adsense publishers have received from Google.

We’re contacting you because you’re using AdSense for Domains to monetize your undeveloped domains. After evaluating the benefits of our partner network, we’ve decided to retire the Hosted domains product within AdSense. Going forward, undeveloped domains will only be served through our existing AdSense for Domains distribution network.

Our records show that 7 of your Hosted domains will be affected by this upcoming change, which will follow the schedule below:

March 21: You’ll no longer be able to create new Hosted domains.
April 18: Hosted domains will become inactive and it’ll no longer be possible to earn from them.
June 27: Hosted domains will no longer be available in AdSense accounts

To continue monetizing your undeveloped domains, you can migrate your domain portfolio to any domainparking provider.

Other Adsense products: Adsense for feed, Adsense for content and Adsense for search will work in regular way only domains have to face Google Adsense ban. If you have hosted dozens of domains within your Google Adsense for Domains account, we suggest you to shift to other publishers. As on 27 June 2012 , all the hosted domains will be permanently vanish from your account.

Google has put up a support page here, including a guide to migrate your hosted domains to another parking provider.

Timeline for Adsense for Domains Closing…

21 March 2012 – Google will stop addition of any new domain to this service.

18 April 2012 – All registered domains will become inactive and no more earnings will be made

27 June 2012 –  All Domains will vanish from your adsense account.

Me being a Adsense publisher personally feel that this is good for all, as earning from domains was not that worth, it was all garbage traffic which was generating revenue. Now for all those who have been using Adsense for domains, its an advice to shift to website that should contain good and original content. Their is always an end to all clever foxes. Now only people with real content will succeed as ” Content is King” for Google.
